The County received the Award for Outstanding Achievement in Popular Annual Financial
Reporting from the Government Finance Officers’ Association (GFOA) for its Popular Annual
Financial Report (PAFR) for Fiscal Year 2004-05. The PAFR, which is prepared by the
Auditor-Controller's office, is a condensed version of the Comprehensive Annual
Financial Report, and is intended to be a high-level summary of financial highlights
for the County directed to the general public and other casual users of financial
reports.
